Electro-Acupuncture

Electro-acupuncture works in a similar way to traditional acupuncture except that, rather that working with needles, it uses a probe that touches the skin and passes a tiny current into the body to stimulate the energy meridians. It is painless and just tickles a little.

It has been found to be just as effective as other forms of acupuncture. It is particularly helpful for relieving pain, for injury repair and for stimulating the eyes and the face muscles, improving vision and facial tone.

Hopi Ear Therapy (Thermo-Auricular Therapy)

Hopi ear candles are named after the Hopi tribe who introduced this therapy to the West. This gentle and natural therapy is used in many parts of the world.

The Hopi candle is a hollow tube made out of cotton flax impregnated with extract of honey and herb oils such as chamomile and sage. The tip is lit and the base is placed in the ear, acting as a chimney, drawing out the impurities, soothing the ear and relaxing the person.

Ear candles can help with sinusitis, rhinitis, earwax, earache, vertigo and irritation of the ears including tinnitus. It is a safe and gentle treatment for both adults and children. It has proved very helpful in reducing ear pain when flying.
